New Years Eve bonfire a decade of tradition
Once our busy season slows down we get to have a little fun. Since 2001, we along with the help of friends and family have always built a bonfire for New Years Eve. The theme is often inspired by a current event of that year. We only work on it on the weekends in December. Average build time is 6 days. It’s like landscaping, ton of work but it’s worth it when you see the final product!

Where it all began
In 1979, our grandfather Joe Duplessis set aside 7 acres of his land which he inherited from his grandfather’s homestead and began planting trees to replace the trees that were cleared from the property for farming. Today there are well over 1000 trees growing in “The Forrest”. Although he is no longer with us, each day on our way out from the shop we pass those trees and it reminds us of him. He had a great love for nature and a great work ethic.
Thanks for visiting!
Hope to see you soon!
